Nicole Sweeny

Nicole Sweeny is a seasoned executive in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in commercial leadership positions. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at KalVista Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2023, Nicole previously held the same title at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc., where responsibilities included optimizing a multi-billion pipeline and developing commercial strategies for CNS disorders. Prior to that, Nicole was the VP and Head of the US Hereditary Angioedema Franchise at Takeda, managing a significant ultra-rare disease portfolio with full P&L accountability. At Shire, Nicole played a crucial role in launching the first monoclonal antibody for Hereditary Angioedema and led strategies for hematology and rare diseases. Earlier career positions include key marketing and leadership roles at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Genzyme, and Hill, Holliday Advertising. Nicole holds a BS in Marketing from Boston College.
