Andrés Torres

Andrés Torres has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Andrés currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at KALYP Technologies, where they focus on creating an innovative engineering culture and executing a visionary technology roadmap aligned with business objectives. Prior to this, they worked at Backbase as a Director of Technology, overseeing the backend of their platform and ensuring technical decisions aligned with customer expectations. Andrés also held roles such as Senior Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, and Backend Chapter Lead at Backbase, taking on responsibilities such as mentoring new Solution Architects, providing technical leadership, and managing backend expertise.

Before their time at Backbase, Andrés worked at Capgemini Netherlands as a Senior Consultant, contributing to the development and delivery of custom software solutions for banks, governments, and large corporations. Andrés also gained experience as a Senior Developer at Informa D&B, specializing in Java development, SOA solutions, and database management.
