David Aviezer

David Aviezer serves as the Executive Chairman at Kamari Pharma since October 2021 and has held the position of Strategic Advisor at CytoReason since September 2018. Aviezer is also an Associate Professor at Bar-Ilan University's Biotechnology Department in the Faculty of Life Sciences since October 2014. Previously, Aviezer chaired the board at Metabomed Ltd. until December 2023 and led Protalix Biotherapeutics as President and CEO from 2002 to October 2014. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager at Prochon Biotech Ltd. from 1997 to 2002 and as a Visiting Scientist at Wyeth BioPharma in 1993-1994. Aviezer holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, an MSc in Molecular Biology, and an MBA from Bar-Ilan University, as well as a BS in Biology from Bar-Ilan University.
