Mario Grullon has extensive experience in software engineering and technology roles. Mario is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Kambda, specializing in developing and maintaining features for various clients using Ruby on Rails, ReactJs, and Python. Mario has implemented architectures such as microservices and SOA to improve code base maintainability. Previously, Mario held roles at companies including Fund That Flip, Inc., where they played a key role in developing a new payment system and integrating APIs using Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and Sidekiq. At Minted, Mario worked as a Senior Software Engineer, coding and integrating features for an E-Commerce platform using Python, Bottle/Flask, Django, Ruby, MySQL, ReactJs, GraphQL, and ElasticSearch. Prior to that, they served as a Lead Software QA Engineer at First American Title, focusing on creating test strategies and plans for new projects. Mario also has experience as a System Administrator at Nevesa, responsible for technical support, database administration (PostgreSQL & Microsoft SQL), server infrastructure administration (Windows Server 2003 & Windows Server 2008), and network administration. Mario began their career as a .NET Developer at Data Trane Corp.
Mario Grullon graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 2013 with a degree in Telematics Engineering, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In 2015, they obtained the certification in Foundations of Programming: Object-Oriented Design from lynda.com. In 2017, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Mario also holds additional certifications, including Ruby on Rails 4 from Pluralsight and the Salesforce Platform Basics Badge from Salesforce Trailhead.
