Jeanette Hall Torres

Jeanette Hall Torres currently serves as a Senior Instructional Designer and Program Manager at Kamehameha Schools since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles at La Pietra - Hawaii School for Girls as Curriculum Coordinator and Women's Studies Program Leader and Teacher from August 2016 to July 2019, and as Lead Teacher for the PUEO program at Punahou School from June 2013 to July 2018. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Managing Editor and Editorial Assistant with American Quarterly, Graduate Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and teacher at Aiea Intermediate School. Jeanette is a Teach For America 2010 Corps Member and holds multiple degrees from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, including a Ph.D. in American/United States Studies/Civilization and a Master's degree in the same field, along with an Advanced Certificate in Women's Studies and a MEdT in Education. Jeanette earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College.
