M. Waialeale Arroyo

M. Waialeale Arroyo currently serves as the Interim Head of School at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus since April 2025, alongside a long tenure as Vice President and Managing Director of Community Education at Kamehameha Schools, which began in 2012. Arroyo's expertise includes managing educational programs across Hawaii, providing support to public (HIDOE & Charter) schools, and overseeing the funding and development of charter schools. Previous roles include Co-Owner of Konane Consulting Group, Chief of Staff for the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Kahu of Ke Kula o Samuel M. Kamakau, and CEO of INPEACE. Arroyo possesses extensive educational qualifications, including a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and multiple master's degrees from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Hawaii Pacific University.
