Derrick Burrell

Derrick Burrell has had a successful career in the paper and paperboard industry. Derrick began their career in 1986 as an Applications Chemist and Technical Service Representative at Alco Chemical. Derrick then worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Imerys from 1989 to 1996, and later as a Regional Sales Manager at Huber Engineered Materials from 1996 to 2002.

In 2002, Burrell joined AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals as a Technical Service Manager for Coating Additives. Derrick later became a Market Manager and subsequently a Marketing Manager for Coating Additives.

Since 2012, Burrell has been working at KaMin LLC, where they have held several positions. Derrick initially served as a Technical Service Director for Paper from 2012 to 2014. Derrick then became the Sales and Technical Service Director for Paper until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Sales Director North America - Packaging and Paper Solutions at KaMin LLC. Throughout their career, Burrell has been recognized for their sales expertise, problem-solving abilities, and customer needs assessment skills.

Derrick Burrell completed their education at two different institutions. From 1979 to 1981, they attended Carson-Newman University, where they studied Chemistry. Derrick then went on to The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1982 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
