Bayan Itani

Bayan Itani has held a variety of roles in the past eight years. In 2012, they were a Contributor to the Arabic blog for the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ). In 2014, they were a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary and an Officer at the Technical Committee for the National Social Security Fund - Lebanon. In 2016, they were a Survey Coordinator for the Union of Relief and Development Associations - URDA and a Communication Officer for ANERA (American Near East Refugee Aid). Bayan was also a Local Researcher for the Refugee Hosts Project at UCL. In 2018, they were a Projects & Conferences Officer at the Arab Thought Foundation. In 2017, they were a Content Provider for Kamkalima. Finally, in 2020, they were a Creative Engagement Specialist and a Customer Success Officer for Kamkalima.

Bayan Itani's education history includes a Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology with concentration on communication from the American University of Beirut (2011-2015), a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Arts from the Lebanese American University (2006-2009), and a Baccalaureate Degree in SE - Sociology and Economics from Hariri High School II (2004-2006). Bayan is currently enrolled in the Philokalia Music Institute for Oriental Singing (2020-2022).
