Nisrine El Makkouk

Nisrine El Makkouk has a wealth of experience in the field of research and strategy. Nisrine began their career as a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Lebanese Studies in 2010. In 2014, they joined Anera as an Education Program Manager. In 2015, they became Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Kamkalima. In 2017, they joined UNICEF as an Adolescent and Youth Program Officer.

Nisrine El Makkouk obtained a BA in Psychology from the American University of Beirut in 1997. Nisrine then went on to get a TD in Special Education from the same university in 2001. Finally, in 2011 they earned their MA in Sociology of Education from the American University of Beirut.
