Karen Jensen

Karen Jensen-Vaish serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Kamloops Music Collective Society, contributing to innovative music education for youth. Additionally, Karen holds the position of Acting Director for Player Rewards and Incentives at BCLC, focusing on developing the future strategy and program for Rewards and Incentives. With extensive experience in procurement, Karen has held various leadership roles at Biogen, including Global Category Family Leader and Procurement Director, as well as at Johnson & Johnson as Director of Source-to-Settle Service Provider Management. Karen also teaches Procurement Management and Negotiation and Conflict Management as a Sessional Faculty member at Thompson Rivers University. Educational credentials include a Certification of Specialization in Strategy from Harvard Business School Online and both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Supply Chain from The University of British Columbia.

Kamloops Music Collective is a non-profit organization that offers and manages music programs for youth. They also connect government, corporate and individual sponsors towards music initiatives in Kamloops. KMC provides music lessons and instruments to Kamloops children and youth regardless of their economic situation; and enriches the musicculture in the City of Kamloops.
