Jaap Smid

Jaap Smid is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the CFO at Paques since May 2024. Previously, Smid held the position of CFO at evoyo from September 2021 to December 2023 and served as Director of Finance at ProRail from January 2019 to September 2021. With extensive experience in the finance sector, Smid was the Group Controller at Fugro from February 2014 to November 2018 and spent over 16 years at Philips Consumer Lifestyle in various roles, including VP & CFO for Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle-East, and Africa. Smid holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen and additional Master’s degrees in Finance & Control from both Maastricht University and the University of Amsterdam.
