Neil Zhijing Shao

Neil Zhijing Shao has a diverse range of work experience in the field of computer vision and machine learning. From 2018 to the present, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Prometheus Vision, where they focused on volumetric video and hologram capture. Prior to this, from 2016 onwards, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kandao Technology Ltd. Co., leading the computer vision team. Before that, they held the position of Research Engineer at Statsmaster Limited from 2014 to 2016, where they worked on challenging projects in sports video analysis using computer vision and machine learning techniques. Neil also worked as a Research Assistant at City University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2014, focusing on ego-centric video analysis. Neil Zhijing began their career as a Research Intern at Lenovo in 2013.

Neil Zhijing Shao completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Dalian University of Technology from 2008 to 2012. Neil Zhijing then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2012 to 2013.
