Damir Laurenzi

Damir Laurenzi is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in system and network management. Currently serving as a System Manager at EPFL since July 2006, Damir oversees server and workstation administration for an entire subnet, managing a range of services from DNS/DHCP to complex mail systems and OpenLdap Single Sign On authentication. In addition to this role, Damir has been the IT Manager at Kandou Bus S.A. since April 2012, where responsibilities include managing a multi-country IT structure with VPN and VoIP connections for high-performance computing. Furthermore, Damir has held various IT management and system administration positions since 2006, including roles at Nuova C.S. and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. Damir's previous experience includes senior system management at G11 and extensive writing for a magazine on personal computing, contributing over 200 articles that analyze technology for standard users. Education was completed at IPAS from 1981 to 1986.
