Ramin R.

Ramin R. has worked for various companies over the past decade. Ramin started as an instructor at the University of Illinois at Urbana while also serving as a teaching assistant and graduate research assistant. Ramin completed clinical research on animal bone, which led to a publication in the Journal of Biomechanics. In 2011, they became a Technical Product Manager at Epic, advising healthcare organizations on the implementation of outpatient products. At ZS, they worked as a Senior Technical Consultant, identifying opportunities to create value and insights for clients using data. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Cedars-Sinai as a Manager of Patient-Facing Products. There, they oversaw three main workstreams, including a patient portal and mobile app. Currently, Ramin is a VP of Engineering/Product/Design at Kandu Health, where they lead a team developing healthcare products.

Ramin R. has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, which they obtained between 2004 and 2009. In 2009, they earned a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In October 2019, Ramin R. obtained a Certificate in Technical Management Program from UCLA Extension. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Epic in various technology and medical fields, including Reporting, Beacon, and Clarity Data Model in 2012, and MyChart, Server Tech Camp, EpicCare Ambulatory, and Visual Basic in 2011.
