Youth Outreach and Support

The Youth Outreach and Support team at the Kane County Regional Office of Education focuses on addressing and mitigating issues such as truancy, homelessness, expulsion, and delinquency among at-risk youth. This team works closely with schools and families to provide counseling and support services, ensuring that students receive the education and resources they need, regardless of their circumstances. They also advocate for homeless student education through programs like the Equal Chance Program, funded by the McKinney–Vento Homeless Assistance Act.
