Nicole Bakalis

Nicole Bakalis is an experienced educational leader with a diverse background in school administration and special education. Currently serving as the Special Education Coordinator and Assistant Principal for Kaneland School District 302 since July 2016, Bakalis has previously held roles as an Independent Consultant and Principal at Passages Elementary School in Chicago Public Schools. Noteworthy accomplishments include transforming Passages Elementary School to a Level I rating and mentoring teachers in data-driven instruction and best practices. Bakalis holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago, and is a licensed behavioral specialist in special education.
