Melissa Beckett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Melissa started working as a Mortgage Advisor at Virgin Money from 2002 to 2008. Melissa then joined Sage as a Marketing Executive, where they handled marketing communications, software launches, and customer retention from 2010 to 2012. Melissa continued their journey at Sage as the Digital Business Community Manager, responsible for managing the company's online communication strategy, engaging with small businesses, and providing mentorship and support from 2012 to 2015. Melissa also worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Tor Coatings, where they provided strategic direction for marketing initiatives and built relationships with customers and partners in the UK and Europe. From 2016 to 2020, Melissa worked as an Entrepreneurial Manager at Entrepreneurial Spark, helping businesses start, grow, and scale. Melissa then joined NatWest Business as an Entrepreneur Acceleration Manager, where they supported businesses in their growth and prepared them for investment. Melissa's most recent experience is as a CMO at Kani, a role they have been in since 2020. Melissa is currently also working as a Mentor at The Youth Group starting from March 2022.

Melissa Beckett has a diverse educational background with a focus on marketing and business. Melissa obtained a Professional Certificate in Marketing and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Melissa also holds a CeMAP from the Financial Conduct Authority, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. In addition, Melissa completed a Level 2 & 3 Diploma in Business at Chelmsford College from 1999 to 2001. Melissa has also pursued various certifications in digital marketing, including Digital Content Strategy from Econsultancy in 2015, Online Community Management from Econsultancy in 2014, and HTML Coding from Econsultancy in 2014.
