Thomas Roos

Thomas Roos is an experienced IT professional with a focus on system analysis and management within library systems. Currently serving as a System Analyst at Kansalliskirjasto - The National Library of Finland since March 2022, Thomas previously held the position of IT Specialist at Kungliga biblioteket National Library of Sweden from April 2018 to August 2021, where responsibilities included the support of Linux-based systems for digital preservation. Prior to that, Thomas worked at CSC - IT Center for Science in various roles including Service Manager and Deputy Development Manager, focusing on Unix/Linux systems and project management. Among earlier positions, Thomas served as a Computer Systems Analyst at Helsinki University Library and VTLS Inc., gaining extensive experience in system administration and support for library software.
