Alex Orel

Alex Orel is a Senior Vice President at the Kansas Bankers Association. Alex has over four years of experience in government relations and has been with the Kansas Bankers Association for over two years. Alex is also a Foundation Board Trustee for the Family Service & Guidance Center. Alex has been with the FSGC for over five years and is responsible for securing and investing private financial support to strengthen FSGC's programs and operations. Alex is also a Manager of Government Relations for the Kansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (KEC). Alex has been with the KEC for over two years and is responsible for maintaining strong relations with government leaders to best posture KEC. Alex is also a Legislative Liaison for the State of Kansas in the Office of the Governor. Alex has been with the state government for over eleven months. Alex is also a Board Member for the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Alex has been on the board for over a year and is responsible for informing board members and KEC membership on legislative issues and decisions of importance, legal, lobbying activities, and other developments affecting rural electric cooperatives. Alex began their career as an Intern in the State of Kansas in the Office of the Governor, where they worked for over two years before becoming a Regional Field Director for Brownback for Governor, Inc.

Alex Orel attended Benedictine College and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Business/Entrepreneurship. Alex Orel's education took place from 2010 to 2014.
