Shirley Dieker has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shirley started their career at Farm Credit Bank of Wichita in 1980, where they served as the AVP-Information Services and managed a team of 6 help desk staff members and 4 administrative support staff members. During their time there, they coordinated the installation of a district-wide network to connect 100 offices in a 4-state area and was responsible for managing a budget of $350,000.

In 1993, Shirley moved on to Kansas Newman College, where they held the role of Network & Systems Manager. Shirley oversaw the installation of a Novell network in 4 buildings, including setting up network security and access, and managed both VAX and Novell networks. Shirley also played a key role in converting PCs to standard software and bringing all divisions onto the Novell network.

Shirley then joined Fidelity Bank in Wichita, KS in 1996 as the VP & Manager - Systems & Programming. In this role, they had various responsibilities including managing the Help Desk, Web Development, Records Management/Document Imaging, and Programming. Shirley also led the Help Desk staff in providing support for computer, network, and telephone systems, including PC training.

Their most recent position was at Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, where they served as the IT Director starting in 2012. In this role, they provided computer-related support to all staff members in the state of Kansas, which included 30+ offices and approximately 150 staff members. Shirley supported various systems including Exchange Server, Lync, Remote Application Server, Windows Server, Office products, Intranet/Extranet, and various software solutions like Abila MIP, Abila FundRaising50, AIM, and Blackbaud/Kintera.

Throughout their career, Shirley has gained extensive experience in IT management, network administration, systems implementation, budgeting, and staff leadership.

Shirley Dieker attended Wichita High School East from 1972 to 1975. Shirley then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Education at Wichita State University from 1975 to 1980.
