The Information Technology team at the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is responsible for managing and enhancing the technological infrastructure that supports BPU's water and electric services. This includes overseeing IT projects, designing and maintaining systems architecture, developing software applications, managing business intelligence, and ensuring the security and efficiency of energy management systems. The team plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and continuity of service for nearly 65,000 electric and 53,000 water customers.
