Rod Wilson

Rod Wilson is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Outside Linebackers Coach and Defensive Assistant for the Kansas City Chiefs since March 2022. Prior coaching roles include Inside Linebackers Coach at Coastal Carolina University and the University of South Carolina, as well as various positions with the Kansas City Chiefs, including Assistant Special Teams Coach. Wilson has a background as a professional NFL player with the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, contributing to a top 5 NFL defense and the number one ranked special teams unit. Wilson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Retail Management from the University of South Carolina and has developed a robust coaching career that spans multiple teams and positions.
