Andy Brooks is an experienced fire service professional with a career spanning several positions since 1998. Currently serving as Division Chief of Prevention and Fire Marshal and previously as Battalion Chief for the City of Leavenworth, Kansas, since June 2016. Additionally, Andy has been an Adjunct Instructor in Fire Science at Kansas City Kansas Community College since February 2015. Earlier roles include serving as a Paramedic for American Medical Response and as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Larkin Excavating. Academic qualifications include a Master of Liberal Studies in Public Administration from Fort Hays State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Public Safety Studies from Siena Heights University, and an Associate's Degree in Fire/Medic from Kansas City Kansas Community College.
