Dave Jackson serves as an Adjunct Professor at The University of Kansas since December 2023. With a robust career in law enforcement, Jackson has held the position of Major at the Kansas City Missouri Police Department since January 1996, overseeing day-to-day operations of the South Patrol Division. Jackson's previous roles include Captain, where key responsibilities involved commanding various units such as the Tactical Response Team and the Media Unit, as well as serving as Sergeant and Police Officer in multiple patrol capacities. Jackson has completed the FBI National Academy program and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Grantham, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Park University.
