Kerry Baker

Kerry Baker is a seasoned law enforcement professional currently serving as a Wellness Specialist at the Kansas City Missouri Police Department since November 2023, focusing on holistic wellness resources for KCPD employees and their families. With a robust background in criminal investigations, Kerry Baker held the position of Special Agent with the U.S. Office of Inspector General from April 2008 until retirement in August 2022, and previously served as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service from August 2002 to April 2008, as well as a Detective in the KCMO Police Department Homicide Unit from August 2000 to August 2002. Additionally, Kerry Baker co-founded VeriQuik from July 2013 to March 2018 and was a Patrol Officer with the KCMO Police Department East Patrol Division from May 1996 to August 2000. Early military experience includes service as a Specialist E4 in the United States Army Infantry from September 1987 to September 1989. Kerry Baker holds a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
