Dr. Wendell Smith is a seasoned educational professional currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Kansas City Public Schools since June 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Smith gained extensive experience as a K-5 Physical Education Instructor at Ridgeview Elementary School from August 2021 to June 2023, and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Graceland University, teaching undergraduate courses in the Health and Movement Science division. From August 2007 to June 2021, Dr. Smith taught Physical Education and Health for grades 7-12 at Central Decatur Schools, and also held the position of Assistant Basketball Coach at Graceland University from August 2009 to May 2015.
