John Fierro serves on the Board of Directors for Sub-District 3 at Kansas City Public Schools since 2016 and has been the President/CEO of Mattie Rhodes Center since October 1998, where leadership has resulted in significant organizational growth and a $2M Soccer Park development in Kansas City's Historic Northeast. Additionally, John has contributed as a civic leader in various appointed government roles, including the first Hispanic-American President of the Board of Parks & Recreation Commissioners, and participation on the Board of Commissioners for PortKC and the KCMO Health Commission. John holds a Master's degree in Public Affairs from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from Rockhurst University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Park University.
