Tanesha Nooner-Ford

Tanesha Nooner-Ford is an experienced education professional currently serving as an At-Large District School Board Member for Kansas City Public Schools since April 2021. Tanesha has a diverse background in leadership roles, having worked as Executive Director at Kauffman Scholars, Inc. from April 2008 to September 2023, as well as Program Director and Postsecondary Advisor. In addition, Tanesha held the position of Adjunct Professor at Rockhurst University, teaching nonprofit governance and executive leadership courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Earlier career experience includes roles as Residence Life Coordinator at Lehigh University and Student Life Coordinator at Muskingum University. Tanesha holds a Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy, both from the University of Central Missouri.
