AJ Harbison

AJ Harbison is a versatile composer and audio engineer with extensive experience in various musical fields. Since May 2007, AJ has composed music for concerts, pop, theatre, and films, while also recording and editing audio for prominent Kansas City organizations since January 2015. In addition to freelance work, AJ serves as Executive Assistant and Board Liaison for the Kansas City Symphony since January 2017 and has held roles as Worship Music Director at Oak Hills Presbyterian Church and previous worship leadership positions at other churches. AJ's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Music Composition from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition from California State University, Fullerton.
