Evan Nelson

Evan Nelson is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Shelter Advocate at Safehome since June 2024, where responsibilities include conducting client intakes and maintaining confidential records. In addition, Evan has held multiple roles in the arts and customer service, including Customer Relations Representative at Kansas City Symphony, Patron Services Associate/House Manager at Music Theater Heritage, and previous positions such as Bass Choral Intern at Village Presbyterian Church and Choir Director at Salem United Methodist Church. Educationally, Evan is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, having previously earned a Master’s in Vocal Performance from Binghamton University and Bachelor's degrees in Music and Theatre from Florida State University.
