Whitney Escalante

Whitney Escalante has extensive experience in development and fundraising, serving as the Assistant Vice President for Development at KU Endowment from June 2016 to April 2022, where roles included Development Director & Team Leader for Scholarship Support and Associate Development Director & Team Leader. Prior to this, Whitney worked at the University of Kansas Athletics from April 2008 to May 2012 in various administrative roles, including Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, and Mail Services Attendant at the Wagon Student Athlete Center, as well as serving as Captain and Member of the Rock Chalk Dancers. Whitney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a specialization in Strategic Communication and a Minor in Communication Studies from The University of Kansas, earned between August 2008 and May 2012.
