Martijn Postma

Martijn Postma has extensive experience in privacy, personal data protection, and IT consulting. Since November 2014, Martijn has served as a Data Protection Officer at The Netherlands Gaming Authority, overseeing GDPR, LED, PSD2, and e-privacy compliance while leading a team to develop a real-time data reporting system. Prior to this, Martijn worked at the Ministerie van Defensie, assisting with eIDAS audit preparations and PKI training, and was an expert for the European Commission Research Executive Agency, evaluating Horizon2020 proposals. Martijn's career at the NL Ministry of Defence spanned over a decade in various roles, including Senior Business Consultant and Program Manager, focusing on secure collaboration and public safety sector developments. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam.
