Thomas Borghols is an experienced professional with a strong background in program management and financial oversight. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Kansspelautoriteit, Thomas is responsible for the management and efficient allocation of resources in the addiction prevention fund established by the Dutch Online Gambling Act. Previous roles include Medior Program Controller at the Municipality of Eindhoven, where advisement for climate, energy, and environmental program managers was provided, and financial support in the spatial planning department. Thomas has also held positions as a Board Member for the youth network 040VOLT, a Data Analyst at Simbuka, and various internships focusing on economic analysis and political monitoring. Thomas holds multiple advanced degrees from Leiden University and has demonstrated leadership as President of the Leiden Model United Nations Foundation.
