Thomas Nijenhuis

Thomas Nijenhuis is a professional with a diverse background in advisory roles and political involvement. Currently serving as Senior Adviseur Strategie at Kansspelautoriteit since November 2023, Thomas previously worked as Adviseur Digitaal Stelsel Omgevingswet at Rijkswaterstaat from September 2022 to October 2023 and held advisory positions at BECIS | DIOR during various periods. Thomas has also been active in local politics as a Commissie-raadslid for Partij voor de Dieren in Haarlem and worked on COVID-19 advisory projects within the Ministry of Health, Welfare, and Sport. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in International Relations, also from the same institution.
