Cameron Tarbotton is a Senior Consultant at Kantega since January 2023. Before that, from May 2021 to January 2023, they worked as a Data Team Lead at Polaris Media ASA. Prior to that, from May 2017 to May 2021, they served as a Data Manager at Adresseavisen. From July 2014 to June 2016, they were employed as a Catastrophe Modeller at QBE Insurance. Before that, they worked as a GIS Consultant at the University of Sydney from December 2013 to February 2014. Cameron also served as a PHD Researcher at the University of New South Wales from October 2009 to December 2013. Prior to that, from November 2008 to July 2009, they worked as a Research Consultant at CSIRO - ICT Centre, Autonomous Systems Laboratory. From October 2007 to November 2008, they were an Intermediate Coastal Engineer at Triton Consultants Ltd. Cameron also worked as a Research Engineer at CSIRO - ICT Centre, Autonomous Systems Laboratory from January 2006 to August 2007. Lastly, from May 2005 to August 2005, they served as a Research Engineer at Joule Microsystems.
Cameron Tarbotton pursued their education with dedication and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Natural Hazards Risk Studies at UNSW from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics at The University of British Columbia.
