Christian Grimsgaard

Christian Grimsgaard has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Christian is currently employed as a Senior Frontend Developer at Kantega since January 2021. In addition, Christian is also the owner, daily manager, and chief roaster at Kaffedyret, a small coffee roastery on Askøy, a position they have held since June 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Christian worked as a Project Lead at Secret Toymaker starting in December 2014. Christian also served as a Frontend Developer at Knowit Experience from December 2014 to December 2020, where they developed web and mobile solutions. During this time, they embraced their passion for coffee and started their independent venture as a Freelance Web Developer at ChristianGrimsgaard.net from August 2009 to December 2014.

Christian gained valuable experience and skills through internships as well. Christian worked as a Mobile Developer Intern at Knowit in the summer of 2014 and as a Frontend Developer Intern at Knowit in the summer of 2013. Furthermore, they completed a summer internship at Statoil in 2010.

Additionally, Christian briefly worked as a Greenkeeper at Fana Golf Club in the summer of 2008.

Christian Grimsgaard earned a Master's Degree in Interaction Design from Gjøvik University College (HiG) in the years 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Web Development from the same institution between 2009 and 2012. Christian's education history started at Sandsli Videregående Skole, where they pursued General Education with a focus on Scientific Subjects from 2006 to 2009.
