Håvard Geithus

Håvard Geithus has a solid work experience in the field of software development and consultancy. Håvard is currently a Senior Consultant at Kantega, where they started in January 2019. Prior to this, Håvard worked as a Developer at CreoPark from August 2017 to December 2018.

Håvard has a significant tenure at Sognefjord Cabins, where they started as a Developer in January 2009 and remained until December 2018. In this role, they built the website and booking system for a family business, utilizing PHP and later rewriting it as a Spring application. The booking system front-end was a React-Flux application.

From an industry perspective, Håvard also served as a Fullstack Developer at Highsoft AS from an unspecified date in 2015 until August 2017. Here, they worked on Highcharts Cloud, implementing key features and improving usability, maintainability, stability, and profitability.

In terms of other experiences, Håvard worked as a Developer at Posten Norge from July 2014 to September 2015, focusing on their platforms, mybring.com and posten.no. Håvard also had a summer internship at Comoyo (now Telenor Digital) in 2012, where they implemented an OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework component in Java.

Furthermore, Håvard gained valuable experience as a Summer Student at FFI in 2011, working on software development for the Android platform and developing two applications.

Håvard's work experience also includes roles as a Teaching Assistant in Mathematics at Sygna High School from August 2005 to May 2006 and as a Guitar Teacher at Balestrand Music School from August 2005 to December 2005.

Håvard Geithus obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they studied Allmennfag at Sygna High School from 2003 to 2006.
