Siv Midtun Hollup

Siv Midtun Hollup has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2005, they worked as a PhD student at UiB until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they served as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bergen. In 2010, they also briefly worked as a coordinator at Uni Research, where they focused on coordinating efforts to secure funding for a Norwegian Elixir node. Starting in 2014, Siv worked at Bouvet ASA as an IT Consultant until 2019. Currently, they are employed at Kantega as a Consultant, a role they took on in 2019.

Siv Midtun Hollup has a strong educational background in bioinformatics. Siv Midtun pursued their Master of Science degree from 2003 to 2005 at the University of Bergen (UiB) specializing in Bioinformatics. Building upon their master's degree, Siv Midtun Hollup continued their academic journey at UiB and earned a PhD in Protein Bioinformatics from 2006 to 2010, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
