Roland Gasser

Roland Gasser currently serves as the Leiter Geschäftsstelle der KESB Kanton Bern (DIJ) since November 2023, overseeing the coordination and organization of cross-site projects for the 11 cantonal child and adult protection authorities. Previous experience includes the role of Departementsleiter zentrale Dienste and Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung at Schlossgarten Riggisberg (March 2022 - November 2023) and various positions at Kanton Bern from September 2011 to March 2022, including Co-Leiter Abteilung Versorgungsplanung at the Gesundheitsamt. Roland Gasser's academic background features a Master of Public Administration from the University of Lausanne, a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Technische Universität Berlin, and a MSc in Psychology from the University of Zurich. Additional research experience includes a fellowship at the University of Toronto and research roles at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW and Medgate Schweiz.
