Damian Hedinger

Damian Hedinger currently serves as a Specialist in Quality and Process Management at Kantonsspital Graubünden since February 2024. Prior to this role, Damian held positions at OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule, first as Head of Competence Center and previously as Scientific Staff in the Institute for Ageing Research IAF from February 2022 to January 2024. A sabbatical was taken from January 2021 to January 2022. From April 2016 to December 2020, Damian worked as a Scientific Project Leader at the Bundesamt für Statistik (BFS)/Swiss Health Observatory (Obsan). The academic journey includes a PhD in Sociology from the University of Zurich (2012-2016) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology, along with minors in Social & Economic History and Social & Preventive Medicine from the same university (2005-2011). Additionally, an Erasmus Summer School in Epidemiology/Health Services Research was completed at Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2013.
