Shamil Suleymanov

Shamil Suleymanov is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in guiding teams and driving data-driven strategies. Currently serving as the Data Science Chapter Lead at Kapital Bank since January 2018, Shamil leads a talented group of data scientists in developing advanced machine learning models and deploying data solutions to improve business performance. Previously, Shamil held the position of Data Analyst Chapter Lead, where the focus was on optimizing data processes and delivering actionable insights. Earlier career experiences include roles such as Customer Data Analyst at Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) and Risk Analysis Specialist at Carlsberg Group. Additional expertise includes developing ERP systems, training users, and performing statistical analyses, rooted in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Hacettepe University.
