Emma Decourcy

Emma DeCourcy is a staff attorney at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP.

Emma plays an active role in the firm’s public interest litigation practice. Most notably, Emma is a member of the team representing victims of consumer fraud in a federal class action lawsuit against Donald J. Trump, his adult children, and the Trump Organization. Emma’s practice also includes commercial and regulatory enforcement litigation.

Emma joined Kaplan Hecker & Fink from the New York City Law Department, where she was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in the Special Federal Litigation Division. At the Law Department, Emma worked to defend the City of New York and its officials in federal civil rights cases.

Emma is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and an executive board member of the Fordham Moot Court Board. Also at Fordham, Emma was a student attorney for the Federal Litigation Clinic, where she represented indigent individuals in federal appeals. She received her B.A, cum laude, from Franklin & Marshall College.
