Timothy Werth is the chief information officer and vice president of administrative services at Purdue University Global. In this role, he will provide visionary leadership, operational execution, and organizational support to transform processes and enable technologies to support Purdue Global strategic objectives.
Previously, Werth served as the director of business process reengineering (2016–2018), senior director of finance (2018–2020), and executive director of strategic initiatives for information technology (2020–2021) at Purdue University West Lafayette. He was responsible for strategic and operational financial results for a $300 million portfolio of units, including Student Life and intercollegiate athletics. Werth also led the $35 million Transform Purdue initiative to redesign the University’s business processes and technology to support finance, human resources, and enterprise asset management.
Prior to joining Purdue, Werth held multiple leadership positions with Oerlikon Drive Systems as part of a 30-year career in accounting and finance. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University in 1991 and his MBA from Purdue Global in 2021.
