Andrew Marikis

Andrew Marikis is an experienced educator and arts professional with a diverse background in teaching and performance. Currently serving as a Drama Teacher and 2nd Grade Classroom Teacher at Baker Demonstration School since August 2019, Andrew also works as a Standardized Patient at Northwestern University Hospital, where role-playing enhances medical students' communication skills. As a Lead Teaching Artist at Emerald City Theatre and former Teaching Artist at Adventure Stage Chicago, Andrew designs and implements theatre-based curriculums for young students. Additional roles include tutoring for Kaplan's ACT, SAT, and PSAT programs, hosting Story Club South Side, and contributing to various educational and compliance-focused positions at the Illinois Housing Development Authority. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and English from Baldwin Wallace University.
