Emmanuel Nwakibu

Emmanuel Nwakibu serves as Senior Counsel and Director of Government Relations at Kaplan, focusing on litigation, regulatory compliance, and government affairs since August 2021. Previously, Emmanuel held the position of Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Forney Corporation, where responsibilities included managing legal contracts, negotiating settlements, and overseeing corporate compliance programs. Emmanuel's experience also encompasses roles at G.83 Aerospace, Hunt Oil Company, and as a Judicial Intern for Judge Noel L. Hillman, with a strong foundation in legal research, compliance, and contract drafting. Emmanuel holds a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Mass Communication and European History from Washington and Lee University.
