Course Mentor at Kaplan

Madison Black is currently serving as a Course Mentor at Kaplan since May 2022. Previously, Madison worked as a Research Coordinator in the Department of Pediatrics- Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine from July 2021 to October 2021. Early experience includes serving as a Rise&Teach Student Teacher at Georgetown University Department of Biology, where Madison taught an Anatomy and Physiology class and implemented an inquiry project, and as a DC Reads Site Coordinator and Tutor at Georgetown University Center for Social Justice, coordinating tutoring programs for elementary-aged children. Furthermore, Madison has held positions as a Teaching Assistant for a Freshman Biology Seminar and as an Undergraduate Researcher at MD Anderson Cancer Center, contributing to thoracic oncology research. Madison is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at McGovern Medical School, expected to be completed in May 2027, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology of Global Health with a minor in Psychology from Georgetown University.
