Jackson DeHaven is a second-year Jefferson and Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Politics. Currently, Jackson serves as the Vice President of Kappa Alpha Order and Managing Editor for the Virginia Undergraduate Law Review. Previously, Jackson worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Mathnasium and interned with the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, assisting with civil legal services. Jackson has also participated in leadership programs at The Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and Yale Young Global Scholars, focusing on government and law. Jackson is the founder and president of The Missing Books, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to literature in schools affected by book-banning policies.
