Jon Gudnason

Jon Gudnason is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in software development and IT leadership. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager at Kaptio since October 2024, Jon leads cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Previously, Jon held various roles at Controlant, including Chapter Lead - Backend Engineering, Engineering Manager, and Product Owner, overseeing product value and collaborating with stakeholders. As IT Director at Reviva Capital S.A. from 2010 to 2020, Jon managed all IT activities, and earlier experience includes project management at Onelife SA and senior management at Landsbanki Luxembourg S.A. Jon holds a BSc in Computer Science and Business Administration from Reykjavik University and an MSc in Banking and Finance from the Luxembourg School of Finance.
