Rula Jamous has held various roles throughout their work experience. Rula is currently the Director of Finance and Operations at Karam Foundation since September 2022. Previously, they worked at the National Endowment for Democracy, where they served as a Senior Manager from March 2021 to October 2021, overseeing a grant portfolio and managing the organization's budget. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Grants Officer from October 2012 to March 2021, responsible for grant administration and implementing new workflows. Additionally, they worked as an International Project Manager at Aboud Group, coordinating railway projects and securing foreign investments from 2010 to 2011. Rula also worked as a Grants Administrator at the National Endowment for Democracy from April 2007 to September 2009, managing a cross-border portfolio.

Rula Jamous obtained a Certificate of Higher Education in Politics and International Relations from Westminster University in 2002. Rula then completed a Bachelor's degree in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. In 2011, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Economics at Birkbeck, University of London. Later, Rula earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed in 2016.
