Kayla Nguyen

Kayla Nguyen has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Marketing Specialist at Karat® by Lollicup™ since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Merchant Services employee at US Alliance Group, Inc from February 2022 to November 2022. From July 2021 to February 2022, they served as a Risk Management Specialist at Pacific Premier Bank.

From April 2018 to July 2021, Kayla was an Executive Assistant at Asia Entertainment Inc. In this role, they played a crucial part in shaping the direction of the company's social media and created engaging shows to promote Asian singers.

Before that, from July 2014 to April 2018, they worked as a Collaborator at YouTube, producing comedic videos that resonated with the Vietnamese community and updating social media with their work's progress.

Kayla also has experience in retail, having worked at UNIQLO. Kayla started as a Supervisor in Training from July 2014 to May 2015 and then progressed to become a Supervisor from June 2015 to June 2016. Kayla further advanced to the role of Assistant Manager from August 2016 to June 2017. Their responsibilities included training staff, planning store layouts, and developing a strong customer service team.

Prior to their retail experience, from April 2011 to May 2015, Kayla worked as a Video Marketer at Cheap Cheap Real Estate. Kayla built brand awareness through marketing campaigns and created YouTube content that garnered significant views. Moreover, they designed and distributed original flyers to support real estate agents in their sales.

Lastly, from October 2012 to July 2014, Kayla worked as a Translator at Integrated Translation Services, where they provided Vietnamese American translation services during occupational therapy sessions and assisted Vietnamese individuals with paperwork for enrolling in therapy.

Kayla Nguyen attended Temple University from 2010 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film/Video and Photographic Arts.
